[Case Study] Vibration Control Measures for Desk Vibration Caused by Ceiling-Mounted Air Conditioning Indoor Units
Significant vibration reduction effect due to the change to spring vibration isolation! The issue has been resolved without taking measures against the desk.
We would like to introduce a case study on measures taken to address perceptible vibrations caused by the operation of a ceiling-mounted air conditioning indoor unit. In a clinic on the 12th floor of an existing building, perceptible vibrations were occurring on the desk in the examination room due to the operation of the ceiling-mounted air conditioning indoor unit below. In response to these vibrations, a measure was implemented to replace the existing vibration isolation rubber of the air conditioning unit with a higher-performance spring vibration isolation system, resulting in a reduction of desk vibrations. 【Case Overview】 ■ Key Point of the Measure: Significant vibration reduction effect achieved by switching to spring vibration isolation ■ Cause: The existing rubber hangers provided almost no vibration isolation, and the desk in the examination room had a design that made it prone to shaking ■ Measure: Replacement with spring vibration isolation ■ Effect: Vibrations were reduced to the extent that no further measures were needed on the desk side, and the building owner was very satisfied with this result. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
